Texas Open Door Realty is located in Historic Downtown Round Rock. Our office is commonly referred to as the “Old Texaco Station” located at the intersection of Mays and Main Street, one of the main intersections in the downtown area. The building was built in 1918 by the Mays family and was originally a Gulf Gas Station. The Mays family owned the building until 1997.It was the original home of the Round Rock Express (Round Rock’s professional baseball team) and has also been the headquarters for numerous political campaigns. However, the site is most famous for the legendary “domino game” that occurred outside under the awning for years.
Even though the pumps outside have not been operational for years, we still get customers who come by for gas so there’s a “Sorry, No Gasoline” sign in the window. |
